Management Lesson - Horse & Pig

An interesting management lesson shared by a friend of mine :

Horse, Pig and their Boss before the incident in the story

" There was a farmer who collected horses; he only needed one more breed to complete his collection. One day, he found out that his neighbor had the particular horse breed he needed. So, he constantly bothered his neighbor until he sold it to him. A month later, the horse became ill and he called the veterinarian, who said: Well, your horse has a virus. He must take this medicine for three days. I'll come back on the 3rd day and if he's not better, we're going to have to put him down.
Nearby, the pig listened closely to their conversation.
The next day, they gave him the medicine and left.
The pig approached the horse and said: Be strong, my friend. Get up or else they're going to put you to sleep!
On the second day, they gave him the medicine and left.
The pig came back and said: Come on buddy, get up or else you're going to die! Come on, I'll help you get up. Let's go! One, two, three...
On the third day, they came to give him the medicine and the vet said: Unfortunately, we're going to have to put him down tomorrow. Otherwise, the virus might spread and infect the other horses.
After they left, the pig approached the horse and said: Listen pal, it's now or never! Get up, come on! Have courage! Come on! Get up! Get up! That's it, slowly! Great! Come on, one, two, three... Good, good. Now faster, come on.... Fantastic! Run, run more! Yes! Yay! Yes! You did it, you're a champion!!!
All of a sudden, the owner came back, saw the horse running in the field and began shouting: It's a miracle! My horse is cured. This deserves a party. Let's kill the pig!

Point for reflection: This often happens in the workplace. Nobody truly knows which employee actually deserves the merit of success, or who's actually contributing the necessary support to make things happen.

Interesting isn't it? Sadly its also very true, the companies that really value their employees and their contributions are rare and few.

She deserves it !!!!

Whoa !!! One guy slaps his wife and suddenly this small domestic incident has taken on a life of its own........hundreds of blog articles, countless human rights activists literally starving for justice, media headlines, talkshows, protests and what not !!!!! Next thing we'll be hearing that the woman who got slapped will be writing a book on 'Islamic oppression of the fairer sex by chauvinistic pigs' and I am sure its gonna be a smash hit, making her a millionairess, leading to her own talkshow, media glory, hollywood contract, possibly an emmy nomination and what not........at least then she can spend how muchever she wants on her abayas !!!!

Personally I would try my level best to not resort to any violence against women, but in this case I am not really sure.......yeah its right that the Saudi Arabia is a pretty strict place for us normal humans to survive, but this female asked for it.......first of all she goes and buys a R.O. 95 abaya (thats nearly Rs.12,250 for a black piece of cloth), then instead of tactfully dealing with her hubby, she manages to get slapped.......and then to top it all, instead of making the guy understand his mistake or realising her own mistake, she goes and files a case.....what the hell man.......its just a slap rite ?? If everytime we get a little angry and slap a person then most people on earth would be behind bars !!!! I can understand if a stranger somes and slaps you for no reason we can go to the police, but do we go and file a case whenever ourparents hit us ???

This can happen only in Kerala......some really smart-ass malayali guy is trying to save some tax rupees by registering his frickin Ferrari 575 M Maranello as a TAXI !!!!

(for foreign readers and ignorant indian baboons.....in India, taxis are compulsorily registered with yellow number plates and have to display the plates on the sides of the car, apart from the regular front and back number plate slots.....notice on the rear of the car ???....and private vehicles have white number plates )

U know what ?? I am proud of this guy ....... he is driving around in a multi-million rupee Ferrari , which drinks like a gazillion gallons of fuel for every mile but he gets real thrifty when it comes to payin the taxes !!!!...........I am real happy that the good-for-nothing politicians and the useless government isn't getting any money from him....the bloody 120% tax is a too frickin illogical amount to pay !!!!
